Estimators at Kane play a pivotal role in securing profitable projects by preparing detailed tenders, cost plans, and budgets. This function ensures our pricing is competitive, reliable, and strategically aligned with project and client requirements. By working closely with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project teams, estimators support Kane’s growth while upholding the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.
In this role, you will:

Prepare tenders, cost plans, and budgets in line with Kane’s BMS.

Analyse subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure competitive outcomes.

Conduct site inspections and liaise with pre-construction teams.

Negotiate with clients and consultants on pricing and contractual terms.

Lead risk assessments, preliminaries, and bid strategies (senior roles).

Provide input into marketing, business development, and tender strategies.

Report on market trends, escalation, and subcontractor performance.

Mentor and train junior estimators and cadets, developing future capability.
