Job Description
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST APPLICATION ONLY
Workplace Health & Safety at Kane is central to how projects are delivered. The function ensures compliance with legislation, drives best practice through our WHS Management System, and fosters a culture where safety and wellbeing are prioritised at every stage of construction.
In these opportunities, responsibilities may include:
Implementing and monitoring Kane’s WHSMS across projects.
Conducting risk assessments, inductions, toolbox talks, and site inspections.
Investigating incidents, supporting corrective actions, and reporting outcomes.
Engaging with clients, regulators, and industry bodies on WHS matters.
Providing technical advice and mentoring to project teams and WHS staff.
Developing and delivering WHS initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
Supporting Project Managers and Site Teams in achieving compliance.
Driving safety culture across sites, regions, and nationally.
Desired Skills and Experience
Strong technical knowledge of WHS legislation, systems, and compliance.
Experience implementing WHS practices on construction projects.
Incident investigation and audit experience.
Risk assessment and hazard identification skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Ability to mentor, support, and develop WHS staff.
