Job Description

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST APPLICATION ONLY

At Kane Constructions, our Project Management team drives the successful delivery of projects across Victoria. As a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, you will plan, lead, and oversee all aspects of project execution—time, cost, quality, and safety—while maintaining strong client engagement and commercial control. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering projects in accordance with our systems and client expectations.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning project programs and allocating resources effectively.

  • Managing project outcomes for time, cost, quality, and safety.

  • Building and maintaining client and consultant relationships.

  • Overseeing financial performance, reporting, and risk management.

  • Leading project teams, subcontractors, and consultants.

  • Ensuring compliance with WHS, quality, and environmental standards.

  • Providing input into tenders, methodologies, and contract reviews.

  • Mentoring and supporting project staff.

Senior Project Managers will take on a broader leadership role, providing strategic oversight across multiple projects, managing escalated issues, and contributing to business development, tendering, and industry representation.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience leading construction projects to successful completion.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent client and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

  • Financial management and cost control expertise.

  • Program development and strategic project oversight.

  • Contract management knowledge including negotiation and dispute resolution.

  • In-depth understanding of WHS, quality, and environmental compliance.

  • Highly developed communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

  • Mentoring and staff development experience (essential for Senior PM roles).

  • Business development and industry representation experience (preferred for Senior PM roles).
