Design Managers at Kane play a pivotal role in shaping projects from the earliest stages of tender through to successful delivery. This function ensures designs are fully compliant with codes, building regulations, and authority requirements while driving buildability, innovation, and value for clients.

In this role, you will:

• Manage and coordinate the design process across all project stages.

• Ensure design documentation complies with NCC, regulations, and project briefs.

• Lead client, consultant, and stakeholder engagement.

• Chair design meetings and workshops, driving collaboration and resolution of issues.

• Oversee BIM coordination, design reviews, and value management processes.

• Manage consultant agreements, scopes, and design change procedures.

• Provide input into tenders, methodologies, and contract variations.

• Support innovation and continuous improvement in design outcomes.

• Mentor and guide staff, developing future design leaders.

Senior Design Managers will additionally oversee large or complex projects, provide strategic input at business level, lead risk management, represent Kane in industry forums, and drive continuous improvement in design systems and compliance.
